War within
I rose my head in certain animosity and hatred ready to go to war. There would be a sacrifice today. Then my eyes met those gazing pools of ice water and it made me remember a time almost too unreal to be believed. A time where the only battles fought were side by side. A time where our souls were binded together as one. A time where a tear shed meant certain pain and dispair for both. That stare burrowing into the very depths of my being, chilling my boiling blood. Still I pressed on. There would be a sacrifice today. I pressed on and then I saw that way to familiar tear forming. frozen in my tracks flashbacks of pain rang through my memory. I began to re think this war.... NO!!!! There would be a sacrifice today. I edged myself closer ready to take her heart. The tear trickled down. As it fell to the ground I nearly collapsed and then in one flash the end was inevidable. I then turned and began to walk away, pain piercing my chest. As I clutched for my heart there was only emptiness. There had been a sacrifice today
