A poem I wrote for school...
I heard a man speak one time
of a world beyond our own
a place serene and sublime
a dimension to call one's home

He never gave this place a name
but spoke of it with such clarity
a realm where no wars reign
a place that gave birth to disparity

I asked him, "Where can I find this place?"
For I've longed for a sanctuary
"Why?" He asked, "Your world can't be erased"
"For your burdens you still must carry"

"I've become insatiable with what MY world can offer"
"The wars of hypocrites and their undying destructive greed"
"I feel I need a world that will help me breathe much softer"
"Then close your eyes," the stranger said, "for your fancy will help you see."
