A quick little poem I wrote a year or two ago...
Out in the meadow

Silent one day

She knelt and cried

For what she couldn’t say



The willow wept with her

As if he knew

He cried out to speak

No voice, no rescue



The breath of the wind

Steals the words away

Keeping them hidden

For time to decay
