This poem was inspired by my family at the time.
I'm trying to fly, but my wings are tied down.
I'm trying to speak, but my mouth is sewn shut.
I'm trying to see, but my eyes have been blinded.
I'm trying to move, but these chains are to tight.
I'm trying to feel, but my heart is gone.
