Nursing Home patient
Against a corridor wall
I am small
This skin is not my home
Tireless wolves nag my wheelchair
I cannot mouth the pain
or seek the day room light,
the plastic flowers, quiet
against the noise, the rage
I think I dream
remember
like pigeons coming back
I am naked and pushed
into the showers
I drool tears
into the downpour
