A poem that takes you the journey of a teenager mind
Let the rain fall and drown my tears from others,
Hide all my feelings as I stand and shudder.
I lift my head and spread my arms wide.
The rain hits hard trying to penetrate the things I hide.
I fall on my knees and succumb to the thoughts inside.
How can a path so wide become so narrow?
Went the wrong way, guess I missed the arrow.
So misled.
So mis fed,
With the thoughts and lies.
But today I leave that all behind,
As my sadness resigns.
My voice is my tool of comprehension,
Fully charge after its resurrection.
I stand tall as the rain now gives me hope for what I done,
For the rain has stopped and I raise my head as I greet the sun.
