a love that did not last
I still remember your hand in mine,
Your soft kisses I never did decline.
The words you said to comfort me,
through out the days that had no harmony.
I still remember your playful ways,
and every exscuse you used to stay.
Your mind so full of caring thoughts,
I thought this love could never be fought.
I still remember the long cold nights,
when we would stay home and snuggle so tight.
The days that went by so fast,
I so wished forever this love would last.
I still remember the sound of your voice,
and every little thing we both did enjoy.
The way you would say my name,
and how we were looked at in envious ways.
I still remember how we both did agree,
to love eachother always and endlessly.
It is funny how things do change,
how a love like ours was put to shame.
