Originally written 3-7-09 A poem I think is funny.
I can see dead people and they can see me.
A moment ago I saw a couple of 'em sitting in a tree.

They asked me what I was doing there
I responded "trying to live"

They sat there laughing at me
And chuckled "as if"

"You think we'll believe that?" Asked the one with blue hair.
"She thinks we're nuts" said the other "I swear"

"Well what do you suppose I'm doing" I asked in a tone
They turned their backs to me and said "Just leave us alone"

"But you have to tell me, since you know so much"
"We don't, we don't" They said in song and they began to touch (a nerve)

I picked up a rock and threw it at blue hair's head
Red hair just chuckled again, "It can't hit us if we're dead"

"Just tell me what's so funny and I'll be on my way"
"You can't be trying to live and that's all we have to say"

I sat there puzzled "How about instead"-
"YOU CAN'T BE TRYING TO LIVE!" They yelled
"YOU CAN'T BECAUSE YOU'RE DEAD"

I can see dead people and they can see me
And just a moment ago, I joined them in the tree
