Firsat Day of School

Its the first day of school she's dressed cute but shes nervous.
Shes insecure and afraid but she doesn't show it.
If she pretends to be confident then maybe they will like her.

She steps through the door shaking inside.
And sits in the first seat she can find.
People start looking because they see a new face.
She looks calm and confident and relaxed.

Throughout the week she goes on with class.
But not making much friends, she doesn't know why.
When people are looking they see bright eyes and a big smile.
But little do they know shes lonely inside.

All she wants is some friends, maybe a boy.
To notice her and talk to her and smile at her every once in a while.
She doesn't know this but she's scaring them away.
With her bright eyes, big smile and false confidence.
