I washed my hands but they are still blood drenched.
I dress in white but my skin still feels dirty.
I try to forget as I pick forget me nots.

I try to pretend as I look at my reflection. All that stands there is a stranger I will never recognise again.

I burned my blood drenched clothes.
I bleached my blood drenched skin.
But I will never be clean, I can never wear white again.
