Can love turn to hate?
The kissed lingered so gently
On the lips that touched me no more.
You read between the lines of my body.
I lie awake grasping for you
Only to find barren space;
Space that use to be
The pure touch from your lips,
The radiant blaze from your misty eyes.
All that is felt now is the ecstasy of sorrow.
I crave the disputable love we once had.
Your touch made me quiver with desire.
Now your sight makes me shiver with anguish.
All that is left is debatable hatred.
