A different look at death.
A Place for our final rest, we all must seek,

A special place, not one that is bleak,

A place that we can feel right at home,

A home from where we will never roam,

My special place I have found,

With lots of tall oak trees all around,

A place that is not loud,

A place where I would be proud,

Far in the back, away from the street,

A place that lies so very discrete,

A headstone in the shape of a heart,

With the date engraved for when I depart

With red roses all around,

So I could smell them from underground,

When each spring as they bloom

I'll be reborn in their plume

Somehow this will make me feel alive,

That some small part of me somehow survived,

As family and friends visit my place,

As they smell the roses, and feel my embrace.
