I thought I was falling in love...
The sincerest smile seduces;
Virility and vibrance illuminates.
Bedding in ignorant bliss,
Your eyes stare into mine.

I didn't know it was an illusion,
Lust a diversion.
Dreams fade as morning dew
Patience withdraws with heavy sighs

My eyes stop searching the places
We've been...

I and Hope hold hands indefenitely, waiting.
My heart still watches the door.
