This is a poem about a love that was chased and longed for, but only imagined.
Why did I think

that I couldn't have you?

Was it true that I ever

longed for your love?

Now that I have you,

undoubtedly mine,

I want to go back

to the way it all was.

It was great for a while,

but then became risky.

I said many things

that I shouldn't have said.

And now I regret

ever spilling my heart out,

even though you were worth it...

I still shouldn't have.
