Random poem I wrote during my Chem. class...hope you like it.
Surrounded by nothing but lies,
Where I hear the sound of tortured cries,
I escape into my world of dreams,
Where everything is as it seems.
Dream for the weak,
And dream for the strong;
Dream for the right,
And dream for the wronged.
When I look around and begin to see,
That I can be accepted for being me,
That is when I'll complete the task,
Of taking off this stupid mask.
Dream for the weak,
And dream for the strong;
Dream for the right,
And dream for the wronged.
Until that day comes,
This's who you'll see,
This pathetic excuse,
Of a happy me.
Dream for the weak,
And dream for the strong;
Dream for the right,
And dream for the wronged.
Please don't try to change who I am,
I refuse to lose my light.
Just stand down now, before you get hurt,
I refuse to lose this fight.
Dream for the weak,
And dream for the strong;
Dream for the right,
And dream for the wronged.
