She's a girl and nothing more.
Shes not like any other girl
The weirdest of them all
Because in this world of fairy tales
Shes the one who stands up tall
Forget Cinderella
And her pair of shiny shoes
The one who started as a maid
And somehow made it through
Forget about Snow White
The fairest in the land
Because of a tiny apple
She needed a helping hand
Forget Sleeping Beauty
With her dress in pink and blue
One finger to a spinning wheel
And shes helpless too
Lastly Ariel
Yeah the girl can sing
But put her on the surface
And she cant do a thing
No, thats not her
Shes different from them all
Shes not the kind of fancy girl,
With all the crowns and furs
In fact, shes not a princess at all
Shes the girl you see
When your walking down the street
Trying to be happy
And keep everyone up-beat
Shes the girl with the shattered heart
Hidden behind a smile
Shes good at playing the part
Of who she was for a while
So dont tell her you love her
Dont bother to give her your hand
Youll only make it worse
There are no princesses in this land.
