short poem
if i wanted to die,
it'd be as easy as closing my eyes,

as the last breath shivers from my lungs,
taking with it all vestiges of life.

no one is watching but the stars
and lonely moon.
my desperate soul will join them soon,

to silently watch over the world
and offer no commentary. but

even to observe is to change,
and nothing ever stays the same.
