another poem
i burned my bridges,
walking away
as they were
consumed by flames
thinking,
believing,
that i could just
leave it all behind
and move on
but now
when i find that
i must return
i realize my mistake
as i'm swept away
by the cold,
dark, waters
trying to get back
home
