How I felt one day.
Alms for the poor, alms for the sick, alms for nobody.
A coldness seizes the heart, numbs the mind and breeds a distance.
I stand in a corner to watch my demon chew upon my humanity, what remains is little.
My voice has faded, my tears have dried, my sight has dimmed.
Where do I go in these dark catacombs of a twisted maze of a mind when all lead back to the horror that feeds?
Feelings have been shackled, they lie on the floor quivering, howling for the right to live.
My heart beats slowly in a box of glass, choking upon it's own survival.
There is no man that resides here anymore, only the flesh that hangs upon a hook, pleading for mercy, for it's the next to be devoured.
