A poem about how the government can not solve our problems.
RULE BRITANNIA?

Should I rob banks to buy an apartment?
Pervert the justice department?

Or beg and roam the streets?

Running a car costs a fortune
They blame it on oil and exhaust fumes

And no one affords to eat.

So forget about taxes and shove it
I’m always late paying, I love it

You greedy little pigs.

You promise the world and give nothing
Except headaches but I’ll tell you something

Your graves I’d love to dig.

This country is going down the drain
And when it does I’ll laugh at it’s pain
Take your patriots and burn them down
Before the government desolates this town.

It’s going down.

Should I cross over and go live in Thailand?
And live like a king on a few grand?

And wait for this to end.

Or cop out and join the armed forces?
And shoot people in deserts on horses

A pointless war again.

So this is Rule Britannia?
Or lack thereof, now can ya

Really justify.

The hole that you’ve dug us all in
Your government is appalling

Now hear England cry.
