Graduation wishes for my friend's daughter.
Perched on the branch of a tree,
A bird looked happy and free,

Chuggin’ from the bottle of coke,
She would often tell a funny joke,

A singer at heart,
She also trained in martial art,
As simple as she was, it never felt,
That she was also a black belt,

Be it academics, music or arts,
She always topped the charts,
That simple unassuming persona,
Simply won our hearts,

Once a bird, quiet and shy
She is now ready to fly,
Far ahead in the sky,

We will surely miss her style,
And yes, that beatific smile,

Dear birdie, whatever you do,
We have only one advice,
Always make a good choice,

For your life depends,
Not on the luck or the destiny,
And sometimes, not even the money,

But on the choices you make,
The risks you take,
The barriers you break,

Never ever quit trying,
Even when you feel like crying,
As always, we wish you,
A very happy flying…
