A poem depicting man's mortality and how our imagination blends with reality.
The sand, from top to bottom.
No bottom to top.
The planet spins,
The sand falls.
Time lost, none gained.
Fleeting moments lasting out forever.
Fleeting thoughts, lasting for never.
Dreams as wisps of wind.
Reality as gusts of air.
Only a thin layer is the seperate.
A tiny equillibrium between perceptions.
False.
True.
Lies.
Honesty.
What is it?
When it's all just a thought,
In someone's mind.
