what would happen if you woke and didn't know who you are?
What would you do if you awoke in a strange, unfamiliar place, with no memory of how you got there, or why you are here, or even.... who you are....

My mind drifts back to conscisousness. My body is heavy-- unable to move. Like gravity is weighing down on me. It's breathtaking. I'm here, wherever here is. Everything is foggy. I can't.... remember. What happened to me? Why am I here? Okay. Stay calm. Use your senses. Okay. The air feels thick, heavy on my skin. Almost a numbing cold. I breathed in slowly through my nose. Peppermint? The smell is so strong it burns my nose. I feel the need to sneeze, but I fight against it. It would give me away that I was awake. If someone... or something is with me.... well, it might harm me. At least, this is what my survival instincts are screaming at me.
                Wait.........
There is a faint pair of feet approaching me now. I can hear it.
                No.
It sounds like several pairs are coming.
I can't help it, but my pulse quickens. Maybe they won't notice? The footsteps have reached me. Wherever me is. They shuffle right on up next to me. There is silence for a moment. The adrenaline is pulsing faster through my veins. My mind is on full alert, knowing that danger is standing over me. I can hear breathing now coming closer to my face. It's leaning over me? I could feel a cold breath on my cheek. The kiss of it's breath is luring. I've never smelled anything so sweet before-- at least, that's what my brain whispers to me.
                  Stop!
I feel my body cringing away from it. I hold my breath.
"At last" a smooth, gentle, beautiful deep voice breathes.
