You know no matter how much you want things to work out
You know no matter how much
you want things to work out
some things just won’t budge
no matter how much you
clean up the mess and take out the trash.

Changes has to be made
but nobody wants to make them.
Everyone say they’ll try
but nobody really tries. Who cares?

There’s a lack of appreciation. It’s a
man’s world out there,
a woman is just a piece of
furniture, sometimes dusted and moved.

There used to be a rainbow
love but that’s no longer the verdict.
Being together is just gas used to
roam free on a dead-end road.
