Fear of the dark.
Here I am.
Surrounded by the absence of light.
Few stars pierce the sky and the moon just a tiny silver sliver.
The darkness hugs me tight leaving me speechless and afraid.
Even the little light can not save me.
This is what happens when you are taken by the night.

Shadows surround me.
Now the light is a prisoner as well.
Bigger and bigger the shadows become.
Everything is alive.
Fearsome creatures are hidden with only a shadow revealing their existence.
This is what happens when darkness eats the light.

Here I am in my cell of darkness.
Surrounded by monsters that the daylight would call trees and bushes.
Creaking and groaning and laughter in the air.
This is what happens when taken captive by the dark world.
I'm a prisoner of the night.
