A man letting his lady know that he loves her even at adistance
I look upon your beauty in a certain light,
seeking to reach out for your touch.
I gasp as I see your shadow in the night,
I know I need your love so much.

I find that even in my deepest of thoughts,
I can see your figure standing alone.
That even with the ticking of the clocks,
my thoughts unshaken shall roam.

The hollow gong of a distant bells toll,
Though loud as striking thunder,
Couldn't and wouldn't take all control,
Or draw my attention asunder.

I'm pulled into the web, of undivided love,
As I stare into your alluring eyes,
For here I am looking down from above,
With a raging fire that never dies.

I call to you, even from the mountain tops,
My echos ranging far and wide.
Skimming the rivers waves till it stops,
My love for you even changes the tide.

I want you so bad I scream out your name,
I believe that our hearts beat together.
I know right now that without any doubts,
I shall most certainly want you forever.

My love for you inside my heart is at home,
A place that is so sublime.
A place that I have reserved for us two alone,
That will stand against the tests of time.

So when you find, that you are by yourself,
Under the flickering of candles light.
Know down deep that when there's no one else,
It is your shadow I gaze at tonight.
