This happened to me the other day at the traffic while waiting for the light to turn green
Meditation at the crossroad

The red traffic light
On the crossroad
Is a meditation point
An instant yoga spot

Traffic light turns red,
Brakes are applied;
Vehicles screech
Men and women sigh
Movements suspended
Tired eyes focus
Anticipating green light
The nirvana.

Bodies in inertia
Vibrating
In potential energy
Shed their thoughts
Which hurl themselves
Out of each vehicle;
Like curls of smoke
They swirl around,
Condense into a pool,
Well up and threaten
To flood the crossroad;
But the sudden jerk of nirvana
Turns them into arrows
That dart past the traffic lights
Challenging men and women
To shed inertia, to accelerate
To chase them all the way

Till the next traffic light
The next karmic cycle.
