The Number A

I lined up the columns and then added together,
The sames and the likes as birds of a feather.

The digits unveiling a code and a line,
Like a pattern of thought or the words on a sign.

I tried to make sense, I tried to connect,
The ends that I sought were means to be wrecked.

I viewed it again, and stopped with a pause,
The numbers were letters that spelled out my flaws.
