Little red Riding Hood has been sexualized ad nauseum in our culture this doesn't help
Little Red Riding Hood
From the moment he saw her
His mouth watered
In anticipation of her taste.

Want clouded his furry intellect
For the taste of her blood.

To suck out her marrow.
Her smell, the truth of her being,
Attacked his keen black snout
He humped the tree behind her
His tongue dangled.

When her bold smile met him
Pearl teeth, ruby lips, yellow hair.

She sighed regretfully...
Rubbed his woolly head and said
‘Grandma’s house, fifteen minutes.’
And in a scarlet swirl was gone.

For his part he did not tarry.
And in the cool of the root cellar
Made black fury turn her crimson.
