The harsh reality of losing love.
I could sit here for hours and hours....

Pouring my heart out on paper....

Trying to mend my tortured heart through poetry....

Letting myself fall in love again....

.. ..

But I can’t do that....

.. ..

I refuse to fall into the trap....

And let my head be filled with fantasies....

My heart stitched up by ridiculous dreams....

Letting meaningless words warm my soul....

.. ..

Love is painful, love is true, love is blissful.....

.. ..

As humans we seek to love....

To let another love us....

Love ourselves....

We love to love....

.. ..

But what happens when the fairytale ends?....

.. ..

When the prince runs off with the maid....

A carriage is no more than a pumpkin....

The furniture doesn’t talk....

And the slipper doesn’t fit....

.. ..

What do we do?....

.. ..

We live our lives....

We smile and laugh....

We’re free of the ridiculous fairy tale....

And it’s two inevitable words..

..THE END ..
