"Witnessed the Accident and Cried"
There’s something wrong, I know it
I see metal blare red
Why is nothing being done, don’t they see?
Good, I don’t want anything being done.

Talking and laughter fill my ears
Joy hits me from every corner
It is contagious and I can’t help but smile

It climbs the sky now…farewell.
Wind provokes it even more
Someone should see it, it’s marvelous
But no, it must be kept a secret…shhhh…

What? Now what’s going on?
I don’t understand, they are…horrifying me.
People are screaming, begging for help
They cry and pray inside the blazing craft

I wonder what’s going on now.
Mommy I’m scared, I need you.
Daddy where are you, I’m frightened.

They left me here on purpose,
I heard them whispering at night
Saying they don’t love me anymore
That they were going to leave me somewhere

It’s good everyone else is burning
I bet they wanted to leave their children too.
I only wanted those two gone
But the more the merrier right?

Now people are observing what is going on.
They gape in horror and suspense
Crying and murmuring “it’s going to be ok”
Unable to do anything for their so called “loved ones”

It took an eternity for it to end
The fire was carved in my mind
The charred remains lay everywhere
The air of burnt flesh filled my lungs.

Miles away people viewed this tragedy
Everyone witnessed the accident and cried
All cried except one little girl in the airport.
That one girl was me.
