Poem on life and love of it
What

a

day!

I have carb

LOADED!

and look: here I yet sit.

What a weird,

spinning world,

Isn’t it?

I think it’s about that time

(again)

when I set some

Goals,

for the betterment of myself,

and greater success

in this life;

because I’ve only got one,

and so far

It’s AMAZING.

Just got to in the better times:

Protect against the worser times.

I think perhaps

I may have some idea what to do,

just a

Theory

in the

Making.

My jeans have gotten a bit too small,

and some people will never understand

(as I will never understand some people),

And there are girls I keep seeing,

So pretty:

I’m not like them.

And YET

(‘Why do you not despair?’)

I am not sharp,

But intelligent.

My thoughts are clear.

And I am a carefree wonderer; a girl who Knows Bliss,

He’s this friend of mine, you see,

his eyes sparkle blue,

and he takes your hand in his own

and shows you that,

Though the Sky is Untouchable,

you may drift in it.

And dream dreams.

May Occasionally the Mood Take You,

to

Joyously Pave Your Own Path.
