Finding complications in love, Shakespearian influence

My life, my love, is at your feet,

But I tread carefully,

For I walk into the unknown,

I am a wanderer.

And whither I will go-

  that I do not know.

But for you can my wand'ring heart be stayed?

Can my love blossum as ripe as summer's fruit,

Or shall it diminish as these seasons change?

I should mark this sweet time,

For summer's fruit is ripe and beautiful

With all too short a date.

The colours, whilst true and bold,

Strike truest in their newest forms.

Though stayed my heart can be to you,

It will wander from boughour to boughour.

For if I give to you my love and my wand'ring heart,

My life is at your feet.

Tread carefully.

For you tread on my dreams.
