traped in insanity
Hello my old friend
you are outside looking in,
I am inside looking out,
I can understand that you dont know what this is all about.

I press my hand against the plastic wall
of the cage that I am in,
you smile sadly and turn away,
I know you dont what to say.
You turn around just one more time
and smile yet tears are in your eyes.
you know that I care,
but I cant trust enough to share.

Hello my old friend,
you are out side looking in,
I am inside looking out,
I can understand that you dont know what this is all about

I cant come out today, I no longer want to play,
I just cant explain because I really dont know why,
Maybe tomarrow I will try, so wipe the tears from your eyes,
but for now maybe you should leave me be,
in my heart I am not free.

Hello my old friend,
you are outside looking in,
I am inside looking out,
I can understand that you dont know what this is all about.

Someday I will emerge from here, when I am not clear,
but until then know in my heart I hold you near
and when I am safe again, I will return to you my old friend
and when I can open this cage, I want to let you in.

Hello my old friend,
you are outside looking in.
I am inside looking out,
I can understand that you dont know what that is all about.
