A small poem I put together.
The truth shall set you free

It will loosen those heavy shackles

which drag you down to the floor



The truth shall set you free

It will sever those ropes

which strangle and choke you



The truth shall set you free

It will unlock that heavy door

which blocks out the light of day



The shackles still restrict

The ropes still suffocate

The door still entraps

The truth never did set me free.
