A personal experience with love in a strange place.
My Type is Not Yours.

Here I sit in wish,
knowing your thoughts are not mine.
My dreams are bold and lavish,
but now it's my time to resign.

My type is not yours.
It is not my style or my person,
but because your heart is hers.
It is my hope that this will not worsen.

I can only pray
that one day, you'll change your mind.
Laws of orientation you should obey,
and come back to attraction with mankind.

I am tolerant and understanding
but my love for you is still withstanding.
