My struggle with religious belief
My master calls
He speaks direct

I am afraid
And so I hide

I feel a presence
My body hums

Do I believe it
Does it matter?

Is what I perceive
My reality?

It eclipses my life
And I am bitter

I turn my head
Voluntarily perhaps

Eventually I think
I will return

But will I be accepted?
Am I now?

Am I unique
Or just another

A blade of grass
Or something less

A stone?
A pebble?
