Part three (fifteen years after the end of PH) this takes place across about five years
Homeward Bound

I'm to lonely up here by myself
going mad with home sickness.
I've gotta go back
I don't care what it takes.
I'll see another human one day.

The ship may be falling apart
and as is my mind but I'll make it.
I have to. I look out the window
to see the stars flying by
in that endless void outside.
This ship is going faster than it ever has.
This is dangerous as can be but this information
I carry can set us all free we need it badly.

I just passed the outer reaches of the realm of Sol
Pluto flys by followed by Uranus and Neptune
here comes Saturn with it's beuatiful rings
and Jupitor with it's mighty red eye
there goes mars wising by a red blur in the darkened sky.

I close my eyes and turn my head forward then open them
and start to cry for there before me is my home and it's solitary moon
my home....

Then an alarm goes off cutting my thoughts short
and the computer's monotone voice comes over the speakers
"Catostrophic heat sheild failure detected................."

and then my tears of happieness are gone replaced by tears of fury and sadness
