"The idea of hope when it doesn’t exist is supplied by legs and applied with wrist"
The idea of hope when it doesn’t exist
Is supplied by legs and applied with wrist,
But there really isn’t a sense of hope
Unless you believe like some kind of dope.

You may be like veteran women and men,
Bowling high games again and again,
While younger folks just fish around,
With two feet never on the ground!

My concept is simple – show some pride,
For young folks, the angels are by their side.
Veteran players bowl with control,
While others just laugh at the strike they stole!

There’s no hope if you become eerily stressed,
Weary or bitter, or damn-near depressed!
With pride, there’s no need to economize,
A truth we all need to epitomize…
