Masks

The mask falls as the tears shed.

She cries in secret so the world won't know.

Her mask is safety, as long as she has it no one will hurt her.

It's her mask of safety, it hides her insecurities.

Her mask gives the idea of perfection, all time joy.

Pleasing everyone will e her down fall.

When the mask falls you can see her real emotions

Pain, anger, fear. Everything layed out on a platter for only him to see.

She told him everything, no secret was kept from him.

She made a mistake and she pays the price. His friendship is now a distant memory.

She realized the one secret she kept from him was the one she kept from even herself.

She loved him but she was to afraid to admit it, so she hides behind a mask of happiness even though she's dead inside
