Running from the past only leads to one place... home.
Within the folds of joy, I cry.
Before me stands the sweetest light!
The rapture of my life, I write
the final chapter - stygian strife.

Far too long has hell kept hold!
The freedom now to be so bold,
the broken bonds were all my own.
Within the folds of joy, I cry.

Feel the spray of the ocean mist.
Breathe in the scent of salty bliss.
Afraid no more of unknown risk,
within the folds of joy, I cry.

No longer do I ask, “Lord, why?"
Within the folds of joy, I cry!
“The book is written," let it pass.
The lasting faith now holds my hand!

Forever wrapped in such sweet joy,
The final chapter - stygian strife!

For my sisters, Becky and Sam
