Another dark poem... I couldn't think of a name for this one

The stench began to fill the hall
The smell ran deep and choked them all
Bet they'll run and they will hide
When they find what's been left inside

Rotting corpse just hanging there
From the lampshade by her hair
Vacant expression on her face
Looks so pale and out of place

Lets backtrack a month or two
To find out why do what she do
To find out why she just might
Resort to taking her own life

Much abuse and pain lies there
Not many people seem to care
The mental scars they run real deep
Till she feels empty and real cheap

She loved this one guy very much
But found it hard to kiss and touch
To sit and just caress his hair
To just want to stay right there

She trusted him, a big mistake
A bad choice she just had to make
To open up and reveal to him
Exactly what she was hiding

Gruesome secrets, horrible past
Could have ended this good thing at last
He didn't know how to take it
Reaction made her resort to this

Thought he'd love her anyway
He doesn't know if to go or stay
Doesn't know if he wants to touch
Such damaged and tainted goods

He can't even say "I love you"
Chokes the words, don't know how to
She's gone and ruined everything
Now she's alone, another nothing

So what's the point in life again?
Another screw up, even more pain
She really loves him, this she knows
So this is why she has to go

She wanted to free him of her guilt
So now the flower slowly wilts
So now she's left, an empty shell
Hanging there right where she fell
