Streets of San Juan

I was heading down south, for a little relaxation.
Boat drinks and shrimp, some island temptation.
I took off my boots, and went barefoot for the night.
Blending into the scenery, man I’m living the life.

Anything can happen, down South under the stars.
A million senoritas, a million little bars.
Something brought me here, and I know it’s not the rum.
So I’m looking for some love, down the streets of San Juan.

Sitting on a barstool, drinking the night away.
When off in the distance, I see her come my way.
Skin like molasses, eyes like the moon.
A body built by angels and a smile that lights the room.

Anything can happen, down South under the stars.
A million senoritas, a million little bars.
Something brought me here, and I know it’s not the rum.
Now we're walking back to her place, down the streets of San Juan.

The night lasted forever, and I loved to hold her tight.
But deep down we both knew, that tonight was the night.
I never saw that lady, now I’m sure she’s long gone.
The devil made me do it, but God she was fun.

Anything can happen, down South under the stars.
A million senoritas, a million little bars.
Something brought me here, and I know it’s not the rum.
Now I wander day and night, down the streets of San Juan.
