if its good enough for Billy Burroughs, then its good enough for me!
And I'm alone again
This pressure is starting to strain
And I think I'm up to my neck
Because I’ve lost that voice that would hold me back
From people like you
I know you’re not telling the truth
The lies are flooding the roof of the marquee
But you make me so angry
And I throw things at walls
And make scary phone calls
I was so pleased she wasn’t there
Because I'm trying my hardest not to care
To break that synapse
And the familiar lapse
Back into all the blame
Because you’re a victim again
And you don’t want me so ill save you the time
I'm quitting and you haven’t won but I’m
Sick of being at your convenience
I don’t just condense
From thin air and come to your aid
I think you have been outweighed
In this agreement of tariffs and trade
It’s all just another crusade
Because though I know I am right
You have the army and are up for a fight
But I am building my arsenal here and now
I can improvise, but soon enough you’ll bow
You will return all neat and contrived
And my pride will have survived
You will need me again
I can break your chain
Because I’ve seen the light
Now I'm immune to your textbook spite
I think I am open to ignite
The dry jaw bone of your bite
Because that’s all that’s left here
The corpse of your veneer
Perhaps ill go without
Now I'm over and out.
