Rotting away in this hell hole
Can't seem to fight my way out of this one
Guess I've lost the battle, but there is still the war.
Loosing my rankings as I go along
Guess I'm not that strong but you're fighting dirty
Of course I could be wrong but I'm not that worthy...

Every time I feel the high of making it through, what do you do?
Crush my hopes and kill my dreams
And then call it a lesson
Wonder why you make me cry
I'm getting older, I'm a soldier
Fighting in an endless war
Between the young and old.

Adding more wounds to my battle scars.
Hoping that they'll be the last that I endure.
It's not that easy on this side of the battle field.
I feel like it's getting harder to breathe,
like some poisonous gas has made it's way to me
I don't know who it's from,
But I know who I'm going to send it to...
