life, thoughts, personal

Cutting away at the patterns of our lives
Examining the grain of darkness in the fabric of our minds
Looking at the ripped and torn remanants of the past
Carefully matching the selvedges of our wants and needs
Trimming away at the raw edges of our being
Bias binding the tattered seams of our dreams
The sharp edge of the scissors moving between
The facing of our life and the garmet of the world
Slashing into the interfacing of God's protection
Allowing the fiery darts of the enemy to penetrate us
No patch can cover the holes in the delicate fibers of our hearts
A feather stitch with silk threads?
Our soul and the divine woven into the lining
Will a zipper bring closure?
