My last summer before I graduated.
The smell of outdoors so sweet,
playing volleyball against a team you can't beat.
Chasing kids on the run,
from getting ice down their shirts...so fun.
Jumping on a trampoline for a high rise,
after drinking many sodas that wasn't so wise.
Covered in mud and grass,
down the slip~n~slide on anything but your ass.
Splashing in the pool,
before the air became to cool.
Night has fallen from bright day,
there is no energy left to play.
One by one everyone goes to their cars,
leaving only some to watch the stars.
