The truth about a human's addiction.
There's growing darkness, reciding light
Falling, falling, farther, faster, gradually growing dim,
The rise of sorrow is happyness' plight,
An increase in depression, drugs, death
Means passing on is nothing when living a loveless life,
When pressure is added to the mix the days we live grow grim
It's so important, so needed, so in with the crowd,
The only reason you do it's to fit in with them,
Them who are popular, pretty, and cruel to the bone
You say it's helpful,
It's relieving,
It helps with your crying,
But you know since you started,
All you've been is dying.

*No critique, please. I'm a highschooler that does this for fun, I know it's not perfect.
