Welcome to my mental world.
Sipping late in the night
Slowly drifting away

Thoughts suspended in the dark
Dealing with past debts
I cannot ever pay

Shadows drifting all around me
Claws dig deep
Sweet sleep this September
Watch my seething body lay

Released from the grip
Pick up my glass and take another sip

The consequences run far deeper
Than they seem

Boiling through the veins
Of an addicted fiend
