Death takes away someone dear to us and we can't do anything.
I have experienced a great ripple of tenderness from you,
Have also been reprimanded for my truant behavior,
You have cajoled me to dream about success,
Who else could I worship other than you!
I never needed any hero to be my idol,
For I had you

Your tranquil laughter which attracted everybody like moth to flame
Was like serene waterfall to me,
I was enveloped in shield of your shadow,
I have seen your strength like oak tree against the storm,
Was guided by you firmly when you thought,
I was wrong

Now I miss your presence and find it difficult to go on,
Strive to be strong, as you would want me to be,
Learning to survive without you,
Knowing that some way, I'm under your watchful eyes,
Can feel your presence and blessing in all I do,
Helplessly I ask, how can I still show my love for you?
